Arizonation celebrates the frontier spirit that made the 48th state a bastion of liberty (religious and economic), opportunity and fresh starts.

We are a small, family-owned business hoping to instill the frontier spirit in others with vintage-inspired t-shirts. At Arizonation we celebrate state 48, while supporting fellow small businesses that make America great. Our top-quality, super soft shirts are made in New York and printed just up the road from us.

In 2014, we moved here from another great state, Texas. It was a good run in Austin with many fantastic people and wonderful friends. But even the original, local Austinites will tell you the city is changing quickly. Every day, people are moving to the city in droves, but many of them are doing so in spite of the fact that it is in Texas and not because of it.

Ditat Deus—God Enriches. In Arizona we have found the frontier spirit to be alive and well! Despite moving to Arizona in the heat of May, it didn’t take long to realize we did the right thing for us. Thanks in part to local family, we found many like-minded friends and a thriving community.

Arizona’s history of booms, busts, mining and monsoons has turned it into a truly unique community of people, even among the other wonderful Mountain Time Zone states (it is the best time zone by far, even if Arizona is only technically in it for half of the year). Arizona is typically only considered for its desert regions and year-round hiking; yet the tall pines of northern Arizona mean the mountains are never too far away. It’s not the norm to see such varied geography within a 120 miles radius.

Like many places, Arizona thrives on new blood. After all, we were once that new blood. The state has a good thing going here and many others want in on it. But new blood and fresh starts shouldn’t replace old culture. And that is what Arizonation is all about.
